Yes, drapery can be a nice option for sliding glass doors, however, a large stack like the one shown blocks out a great deal of the view. Additionally, if going custom it usually requires a great deal of fabric and expense. I usually suggest doing single width panels on the outside with or without hard treatments such as woven woods or honeycomb shades mounted above the windows or even inside if there is enough depth. “A layered look.”
