Sliding doors in the home look attractive and are functional, but they can be problematic when it comes to their window treatments. Yet, there are a couple of smart options that one may consider for sliding doors that can add a nice, finished touch to the room.
Curtains and Drapes
Curtains and drapes for window treatments of sliding doors make a good option. Usually sliding doors are not energy efficient. Therefore having curtains and drapes of heavy fabrics, like damask helps to retain heat in winter months and cold air during summers. In case you have a better more energy efficient design of sliding doors, you can go for simple, lightweight curtains, lace panels, or modest drapes for your door, thus having more natural light entering the room. The best feature of curtains or drapes for a sliding door is that you can change your window treatments more frequently and more easily than with other options, like shades.

Shades
Shades can also be convenient for sliding doors, provided it’s not having much traffic. Generally, with shades hanging on a sliding door, it loses about half of its functionality. Different types of shades are available to suit any décor. However the two most popular types, much in vague these days are the bamboo shades and shoji screens. Bamboo is a beautiful natural material to have, and bamboo shades are all the rage these days. Further, bamboo shades make an eco-friendly option, being a renewable resource. By having a bamboo shade over each panel of the door, you could have one shade drawn for maintaining privacy, keeping the shade on the other side rolled up for entering the room. Bamboo is durable and long lasting, making it just the right choice for window treatments. Shoji screens made from rice paper are ideal for many decor themes, particularly Asian inspired decor. These screens slide in front of the door and can easily be easily adjusted to control incoming light to have desired level of privacy.
Vertical Blinds
Vertical blinds make a very practical option. They remain very functional for sliding doors, and provide the best possible privacy as they can almost block out cent percent of light entering the room. The latest variety of vertical gliding blinds is a good option. These blinds can be pulled to the side vertically, like usual vertical blinds, but being made of a special honeycomb fabric, they are not as clunky as the plastic variety. You get vertical blinds for sliding doors in a number of colors varying from bold colors to neutral shades with most of them made of fabric, unlike the traditional plastic. They not only add color to the room but texture too.

Panel Track Blinds
Another option for sliding doors would be to have contemporary panel track blinds. These are basically one piece sliding panels available in varying widths enabling you to have total control on the amount of light entering your room. You get these panel track blinds in many fabrics, varying from paper thin to rich damask.

Yes, drapery can be a nice option for sliding glass doors, however, a large stack like the one shown blocks out a great deal of the view. Additionally, if going custom it usually requires a great deal of fabric and expense. I usually suggest doing single width panels on the outside with or without hard treatments such as woven woods or honeycomb shades mounted above the windows or even inside if there is enough depth. “A layered look.”
I want to thank to you for giving us such a great valuable information about this really a great work
