Great share for me to treat my window curtain. Thanks.

Thanks for the post. I’ve recently moved and have a lovely balcony with huge sliding glass doors there. I’ve set some curtain rods there and am thinking about going bamboo or beaded. I tend to stay away from french door treatments because the whole apartment is setup in totally another fashion. I have wide wooden front doors and have already set them up with some thermal drapes.

I found my sliding door drapes at JcPenney and they weren’t expensive at all. I went for insulated fabric here as well because the winters are harsh. Thank you for suggesting them, that wasn’t even in my scope :)

I’m using these fantastic door curtains to the maximum! I love bright rooms and have large windows in my house. The only problem I had was in a hallway and on the stairs. This is why I changed the door I had on the stairs (a midway to the upper floor) and I also replaced my front door. I got a lot more sunlight then before and now the entire house interior got that luxurious looks.

I used lace curtains for my front doors and found a non-invading silk curtain for the upper floor door. These are quite broad so I had to find a way to remove the draperies without making them make too much problems – taking up space. I found a great curtain rod for the upper floor doors and put the rod above it. Now, when I don’t need to use the curtain, I simply slide it to the sides.

And front doors could not be dealt with so easily. I had to use lace here because they take up little space when removed from the doors. They are quite light and I basically use them for privacy, they do not stop the sunlight. They aren’t my favorite window treatment, but for this situation, they are perfect front door curtains.
